About Desklot
A small native Mac app that sorts your Desktop into boxes by what arrived together, and puts every screenshot on a ledge under the menu bar.
What it is
You download a client's files, export a few reports, save a couple of photos. An hour later they're all mixed up with last month's leftovers. Desklot notices what arrived together and puts it in its own glass box, and every screenshot you take lands on a glass ledge under the menu bar, already copied.
It also brings Desklot Tools, a window of everyday file tools that run on your Mac: convert images, remove location data or the background, merge and compress PDFs, extract text and create QR codes.

Questions
Does it move my files?
No. It hides Finder's icons and draws your files in boxes. Quit it and your Desktop is just as it was.
Which Macs?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Signed and notarized by Apple.
A subscription?
No. One payment of US$30 per Mac, after a 14-day free trial. Updates are free and install from inside the app.
When the trial ends?
Desklot pauses and Finder's icons come back as before. Your files are never touched.
Any tracking?
No. No analytics and no account. If it crashes, it sends an anonymous crash report, with no files or names; you can turn it off in Settings.
Refunds?
The 14-day trial is there so you know it works for you, so we don't refund a change of mind. If something doesn't work as described, we fix it, and if we can't, we refund you. Your legal rights always apply.
