Refund policy

Desklot comes with a free 14-day trial with every feature, so you can make sure it works on your Mac before you pay. Because of that, all sales are final: we don't refund purchases if you change your mind. If Desklot doesn't work as we describe it, we'll fix it, and if we can't, we'll refund you. Nothing in this policy limits the rights consumer law gives you.

Try before you buy

The trial is free, includes every feature and asks for no payment details. Use it to check that Desklot works with your Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma or later), and with the way you work.

All sales are final

Once your license key has been delivered, we don't refund a change of mind, not using it, or features Desklot never advertised. We refund in full if:

• you were charged more than once for the same order;
• your license never arrived and we can't deliver it;
• Desklot doesn't work as described and we can't fix it in a reasonable time (see below); or
• the law requires it (see “Your legal rights”).

If Desklot doesn't work as described

Email soporte@desklot.com with the email you used to buy and a description of the problem. We'll work with you to fix it: an update, a workaround or help with your license. If we can't make Desklot work as described on a Mac that meets the published requirements within a reasonable time, we'll give you a full or partial refund, as the law provides. This adds to your legal guarantee; it doesn't replace it.

Your legal rights

• Mexico. Under article 56 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law, you can revoke your purchase within 5 business days of receiving your license by writing to us, and we refund you in full. Your rights for defects or for a product that doesn't match what was offered also apply.
• European Union and United Kingdom. Online purchases normally come with a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content it ends once delivery starts, but only if you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose that right; we ask for this at checkout. If you didn't, you can withdraw within 14 days of your purchase by writing to us, and we refund you in full. The legal guarantee of conformity always applies.
• Everywhere else. Any consumer right that your local law doesn't let us exclude applies on top of this policy.

How to ask

Email soporte@desklot.com from the address you used to buy. We answer within 2 business days. Refunds are issued by Polar to your original payment method and usually show up within 5 to 10 business days. When a purchase is refunded, its license key is deactivated; nothing on your Mac is deleted.

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank: it's the fastest way to a solution. This doesn't affect your right to dispute a charge.

Who sells Desklot

Desklot is a product of IS del Norte, S.A. de C.V. (Bosques de Cedros 100, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México; +52 81 2188 4423), which develops and supports it. Orders are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which also handles taxes and invoices. You can ask for a written copy of this policy at soporte@desklot.com.
